“It’s like a spider web. If one part of the web vibrates, if there’s trouble we all know it but most of the time we’re just scared, selfish or insecure to help. But if we don’t help each other, who will?”
Just as the earth, the soul needs the richest nourishment from the rarest of sources.
The most powerful of unions –
The consistence,
Persistence
& co-existence.
Our minds intertwined,
The complexities of a frequency so unique.
Our bodies aligned,
Dilapidating temples –
Shards of glass placed piece by piece the glue slowly setting..
Sisterhood.
“We realize the importance of our voices only when we are silenced.”
We punish ourselves for the unpunishable.
Accustomed to being stretched –
Thin
Flat.
The dust settles,
Remnants waiting to be forgotten
Yet that very dust gathers,
Formation –
Your objectification..
Society.
“Woman must not accept; she must challenge. She must not be awed by that which has built up around her; she must reverence that woman in her which struggles for expression.”
The power of she,
Not outweighed by the strength of us.
Can I, you, we
Be?
Can we straighten our backs
& open our eyes..
Unlock the cage,
I stretch her wings –
She dusts my feathers,
We soar..
Redemption.
Dear sisters,
Through all the phases, stages, seasons
we are not alone –
Friends or foes.
I appreciate the strength i have attained
through your support, encouragement
& love.
Stay beautiful, stay blessed
